Anyone know if it's possible to upgrade the internal memory in a dx7630 to something much more appropiate... say, a giga or so instead of the 32mb it has now? Well, is any memory upgrade possible? and if so, can it done by a consumer or does one have to visit a professional... and what's the price?

There is a great invention called a "Memory card" that boosts the memory up to 4GB if you need it.
Easy to upgrade as well.

Never heard of anyone doing this,,,,and why bother,,you can buy a 1 gig SD card and put it in the slot....taking the camera apart to do so if even "do-able" would be more costly.....and if you have a 1 gig card that was full i`d be using a card reader which is faster to download the pics anyway......i also image the fireware would have to be changed also...
