I have ordered the P850...haven't received it yet. I was wondering for image stabilization....does anyone know.....is it better to use continuous or per shot. This camera has both options.

In the reviews from other digicams, like the Panasonic FZ, LZ and the Canon S1 & S2, the "single" mode works better than the "continous" mode. Kodak set up by default the continous mode, so if you want the single mode you should go to the setup menu. The only reason to use continous mode is to improve viewing trough the viewfinder or LCD when framing the image.

I also consider (not verified) that the continous mode drains the battery faster than the single mode, and the P850 batteries does not give you too much shoots by charge (see the manual), so it should be also better to use the single mode. This is a theory, I never tried this camera!!, so better test it by yourself and use the mode that gives better results to you.
