I live in Germany and I have heard that the service of Kodak could be a problem.
It should last a longtime to get it back (six months about), if the camera isn't correct.

Is this right?

Many sellers haven't this camera for this reason on store.

I think of it to buy the P850 or the pana fz5.

I thank you in advance for your answers.

What goes on in Germany I have no idea, but the service KODAKhas given mein the U.S. is better then what I've gotten from Sony,Canon, or any other company.

In Germany the conditions for the sellers are very bad, the repair-service is very bad, too.

The conditions of Panasonic and Canon e.g. are very much better.

Only a few of firms have Kodak for this reason.
The competition on the market for digital-cameras is very, very hard.
