Glad to know there are so many of you in agreement. It is going to take effort and some time to get used to the 850. It does more....It has more features....ergo it will take more time to learn. When someone complains it doesn't do this or it doesn't do that explain to them how they should do it to get those results. Or at least the best it will deliver. This camera and the 880 should do most anything an amatuer would want a digicam to do ...BUT they have to be learned.

I am still leaning towards the P850 because of it's fast lens en hi-res evf and hotshoe( this all is missed on s5200)and because of the pleasure my Dx6490 still gives me

Only need to know how wel it does withmanual focussing
