How many tornados news-writers claimed? :G
Here reporters just seem to claim every damage caused by downbursts as tornado while it should be quite easy to see which one caused it, both are capable to complete "final logging" but downburst pushes trees very neatly to one direction while tornado lefts complete mess.

For example almost all of these were caused by downburst.
Three layer windows are strong or what do you think when roof and second floor are missing but downstair's windows are intact?

Weather front thunderstorms actually cause much worse destruction than occasional tornados.
Like this storm front couple years ago, based to destruction strongest downbursts' had winds between 50 to 70 meters per second. Also it's northest documented derecho, radar image shows well how progressing air mass causes arch like thunderstorm front.

Here's nice pics what it caused. (last row of storm damage photos)
Like I said, final logging couldn't be really more thorough.
