Hi All,

Just wanting to know, from those who have the Kodak V550 or V603, how good is the movie mode? I have heard many differing opinions, especially regarding the noise picked-up during movie recording from the zoom and focus mechanism. Is the sound very noticable during playback?

Any info would be much apppreciated.
Regards, Atma-Rising.

The only thing I have noticed on my 7590 is when you are filming something that is very quiet you can hear it but I have taken my auto focus off at these times if you're going to leave the camera fairly static but other than that, I have done fast clips at concerts etc with no ill effect with the auto focus on.
Hope that helps a bit...kind of normal for that since the built in mic is so close to the lense etc.:-).
When I filmed a Lou Gramm concert, I was very pleased with the sound that it gave considering this is not its primary function and was just for the memory of the concert.

The focus mechanism isn't very noticeable, except for very quiet moments (a classroom xD). The zooming servo is another story...
