Default Kodak CX-4230 vs CX-4300

What is better? CX-4230 is 2MP and CX-4300 is 3MP but
4230 has 3x optical zoom and 4300 hasn't - only 2x digital.
Who have better quality of pictures??
Price is that same in my Country...

Sorry for my English but I'm foreigner...

Well I have the CX4230 and I like it. The 2.0MP gives a nice picture and the colors are great. But I would like a 3MP camera. Mainly for printing 8x10's. But oh well maybe some time in the future.

The 4300 should give a nicer image because of the difference in MP's. But the downfall is the lack of optical zoom. Before I ever bought a Digital Camera I would'nt have believed a zoom really mattered. But I found out now that I'm using it ALL of the time. I don't think I'd get one without some sort of optical zoom. Digital zoom is very bad quality. Atleast on my CX4230 it is.

definitely 4230... even cheaper, it has better optics. most zoom lens systems on compact cameras are overtaking fixed ones, in contrast with profi optics, of course. I´ve already bought 4230 and I made some tests with 4200 before (easy to expect the same otics on 4300 model) and there´s no doubt about this...
