I am looking for some portable studio kits that would work with my DX6490.
I don't know much about shooting with studio lights, but want to give it a try.

Does anyone have experience how to do this?? I mean... how do you hook up the DX6490 to the light, etc.
The portable kit I am looking for should have a softbox and umbrella and I don't know if either of them should have their own light or flash...
And one more thing... it should be affordable

Please advice....
Thanks in advance,

I am very sure what you are looking for exist with the possible exception of affordable.

Try B&H Photo or call a flash mfr. within you price range (Sunpack, White Lightning, Ascor etc.)

Buy a copy of the newspaper/magazine Shutterbug .

There are several magazines on the news stands/magazine racks devoted to digital photography.

I think there is a forum here at Steves Forums devoted to lighting too.
