Kodak's not doing very well right now. Very disappointing news, especially since they have recently been turning out some realy innovative cameras at excellent price/performance levels--as members of this group already know.

Anyway, they apparently are transferring the digital camera line production and distribution to a Singapore company. They will continue the design work here, but yet another American brand is offshoring. No difference in quality, I'm sure, as the Kodaks I've bought this year are all made in China (as is my latest grandson) and I like them all a lot.:-)

So I'm trying to give them preference in buying accessories and printing paper. Did you know their EasyShare Gallery service gotConsumer Reports'top ranking in online processing--at 15 cents a 4x6?

That is too bad, Kodak is a great company from what I have gathered out of my P850. However even I am contributing to this problem. I have found Kodak has no ultra-compact that suits my needs and for that I am forced to move to Canon for that

Well I hope Kodak manages to pull up sales, their Prosumer line of cameras is definatly among the best out there.
