Default Dimage 7Hi Packaged Deals

I am considering getting a 7Hi and see a lot of package deals on Ebay that include auxiliary wide angle and telephoto lenses. Are these useful? I would think the zoom range of the stock camera would be sufficient. How about other accessories?

The tele may be, but most wide angle on the D7's are questionable and will vignette badly. The camera will even vignette @ the 28mm setting by itself if a non slim line filter are used!

I would stay away from packaged deal since they are padding to increase the $$$ amount on the sale. I would rather get 2100mAh+ batteries and a Rayovac 1-hr charger from WalMart... :P

Default Notice also the package prices can be high...

I bought my 7Hi sans a package and have no regrets!

I like to pick out my own accessories and see that the kits often carry a steep price increase.

BTW, I bought from Buydig and am happy with the price and service.
(all for less than $900 delivered)

Agree with both NHL and US 5 Camp above.
Don't forget, you already have a charger and a set battery with the 7Hi.
Yeah, Walmart for best deal on extra batteries and chargers
You better look for a big CF card , and a good case/bag to start.
