I have a Konica Minolta (I understand Sony bought them in March of 06) DiMAGE Z6. Takes very nice pics; however, when I try to download to my computer I see "system error" on camera screen and then it shuts down promptly. Downloaded pic just a few days ago and all was fine. Any ideas?

My first guess would be that you are uploading pics directly from camera, and the battery is just a bit on the low side. IIRC, the Minoltas are set up to be very conservative when checking battery voltage, especially when in the file transfer mode. (if this isn't the case, let us know)
I would recommend a card reader for transferring. brian |

What Brian said, and no cord clutter. I have always had built-in card slots on my computer, but on my laptop I don't have a CF slot, so got a card reader, and it's faster than the computer...
