guess it is not easy to determine if a pack has been constructed out of several batteries, or one that is a single cell designed with the voltage required by my camera. i would assume the minolta pack is such a battery, but who knows for sure? also, that still does not justify the price tag on their battery. the "digicom" battery is rated at 7.2 Volts and that is also equal to 6 - 1.2 Volt
AA cells. i am probably wrong with this calculation(simple as it is). the reason being, the pack is a Li-on pack, and i read that there are no AA Li-on cells. so, it stands to reason the Digicom battery
is probably a single cell constructed to provide 7.2 volts; which will work with my 6 volt camera as the minolta pack also outputs 7 volts; which is close enough. i will post my finding when the
battery arrives and i test the camera with it through a few charge/discharge cycles to see if it really is an improvement
over AA's. thanks for the thoughts!!!
