Another 'feature' that I've found on all versions of D7 is if one programs the rear spot button to AE/AF lock, 1/2 Pressing the shutter is not necessary anymore for Direct Manual Focus (DMF) override. Pushing this button will instantly lock AF and frees one's finger for the 4x magnification button to help the manual focusing ring adjustment! The shutter can then be snapped just like normal while all adjustments override are locked in!

It will also be highly beneficial to all your readers if the flush time after all 5 raw pictures are measured (ie this will determine if the D7Hi use a hardware controller vs a low-cost software only consumer grade approach still)
