I have a Minolta Z1 and I am trying to work out if I can put filters on the lense, more specifically an Infra Red filter. I know Minolta makes wide angle and telephoto attachments that can be used on the Z1, but what about filters??
I'm obviously a photography newbie, so any help here would be appreciated.

you need the adaptor tube for the zcw100 wide angle lens - there are many posts here telling you where to buy it - then you can mount any 52mm filter on it....infra red, close ups, skylight, polariser and also a lens hood.
