I am actually quite ashamed I didn't discover the culprit before now.

Damn bloody friggin' blasted$#%!ing Norton Antivirus.

To this day, I think Symantec Antivirus and Security products have been the responsible cause of about 25% of all the computer problems I have encountered.

No wonder I've completely stopped selling Symantec products.

Well, time to make the move over to AVG at last.

Sorry... hehe I had posted a few other threads, I assumed people would understand.

The KM Z3 continuously was giving me "System Error" when connecting via USB. This has been happening since Day 1 when I purchased the camera. I got a card reader but recently I have wanted to have the option of just plugging in the camera to transfer files. Anyway, this "System Error" is very common as I have read many many posts on the subject both here and in other camera forums.

Turns out to be Norton Antivirus getting in the way. At least, in my case.

I just wanted to post my rant because I am so sick of Norton Antivirus causing problems in every other product I ever use. I am dumping it, having already stopped selling it to clients of mine (I am a network engineer).

Anyhoo, that's all.
