I wonder if there are any hacks or smart setups to aquire a series of stills over a given period much like an intravalometer for film cameras? Unfortunately the movie mode only goes down to 15 frames per second not good enough for long duration captures, but I really want to take advantage of long shutter times and not have to roll hours of DV tape from my camcorder.

Any suggestions most welcome.

by the way the Raw hack is marvelous but I won't be using it for timelapse! SD card not big enuf!:G

IIRC my z1 can take Still Photos for 15 Seconds. I'd guess this would be correct for the z2 aswell...
