Hi, following on from my earlier post about getting the Z10 for my friend. (He is VERY happy with it, thank you!) I have a query about macro lens.

He wants to explore the possibility of using close up lenses/macro lenses with it. Are there other users out ther who do the same? What lenses do you use and do you need step up rings to use them?

Once again, many thanks for you help, one day I'll get round to posting a couple of his pictures once he gets a bit more familiar with the camera.

I can not comment on the Z10 from experience, but I do know it has a super macro feature with a 10mm minimum focal distance.

I looked at add on lenses for my Z3 that already has a 6mm minimum focal distance, and to be honest they didn't add anything to the already excellent capabilities of the camera that was worth paying extra money for.
