i've been a gigabyte user for about 3 yrs. very stable and never had a issue. the g8inxp is what i have on order. there is also a g8sinxp which supports 400DDR. stability has been an issue in the ram.

the inxp has dual channel on the ram supporting up to 4gb and makes 226ddr act like rdram w/o tweaking. i don't overclock. and the 3 games i do play will work just fine. SATA(when it delivers) USB2. i already have a firewire card with USB2. with all the ports i'll have between USB/Firewire there won't be any need for hubbing. 8 USB2 and 2 FW in the back. and on the front an additional 4/USB2 and 3/FW

staying at 2.66ghz for now until the 3 gets real in the price catagory. 1gb 266ddr ram. and a ATI card. a winter project for those chilly days.

as to it being better, i would not venture into that territory for obvious reasons. i'll get some computer pro tweaker going into it about how this is not good enough and how thats better. for me gigabyte offers a generally good stable long lasting and reasonably priced MoBo. good website also for info and updates. you get what you pay for. from what i have looked over they're all close. its features that make up the difference.
