Default Kyocera Finecam SL400R

Anyone have one yet? The R-Tune technology seems really impressive...although the sample pics from the SL300R here from Steve seem to have a bit of noise when Kyocera claims "virtually no noise." Anyone have any opinions on the SL300R or SL400R?

Hi, I have been using the SL400R for couples of weeks now,
the Flash is more powerful than the SL300R, Night shots is pretty good. With the latest RTUNE Technology, speed is fantastic, Pics quality is good too. I think it's a nice & compact camera.

I want to shoot my kids while they are running around the playground

how long before the camera's button is pushed and an actual photo is taken?

my nikon coolpix takes up to 3 secs and the child has moved again!!

if this isn't the camera, please steer me right.

This camera, SL400R, is perfect for the task. You simply start shooting, in continuous mode,a couple seconds before the cuteness begins and hold the trigger down. It will take, fine, full resolution shots at about three per second till the card is full. Then you pick and choose from the series. Otherwise, the camera will, if there is sufficient light, focus and snap in under a second.

That sounds great but I can't find any info on the number of pictures on a given size of SD card.
Does anybody have this info for 256/512/1Mb cards using fine and max resolution?
Any help appreciated.:?:

A friend of mine bought one last week.

The SL400R flash is very good, even at night. Speed is great with the RTUNE Technology. Overall, a nice & compact camera.

Best Regards
