I'm looking for a new digital camera. Im not an experienced photographer ... but want to take clear pictures of my sons wrestling. Will the SL300R take clear pictures of fast moving subjects in a gym setting?

I own a SL300R but I use it mostly for landscape photography. Still, I used to wrestle in High School, so I'll try to answer your question. :-)

The SL300R is a camera that likes a lot of light. It doesn't focus well in low light. The camera has a fast, multi-shot mode that can take photos one after the other quickly. However you cannot use the flash with that mode.

One other drawback is the lens is very easy to smudge. It's always exposed even when the camera is off.

I like my camera a lot, but I think I'd get something else if I was using it the way you want to.
