Yeah Don, you're quite right. It did need some noise reduction.. so I've run it through Noiseware and posting it here...

I appreciate your comments on the scene, thanks forlooking.

also the other shot... from the last night (under that werewolf moon!)... but it's quite a bad shot (taken at 1600 ISO on my Fuji P&S with lots of darknesss... so you can imagine!)... and I don't have the time to work on it more now.

Still here it is! It gives you an idea of the final hour of our walk!!!

Hi Dan!

Welcome to the forum! Glad you like the moonscapes, even if scarey!

Thanks for your kind comments.

I like the additional shots also. Your night camping reminds me of a situation about 30 years ago. I was just married and my wife and I were travelling in Scotland. Being interested in history and visiting north of Loch Ness, we were in an area of the Scottish highlands that supposedly the real MacBeth had lived, many centuries before. We thought about camping over night in this wild and desolate area, but we didn't have the intestinal fortitude. We were frightened that the ghost of MacBeth might have a terrible and frightening effect on the two of us. :O+

Lesmore49,

Thanks for your interesting personal history and perspective. As I've been in north west Scotland several times.. I know what you mean. IT's beautiful country up there too.

Thankfully I'm not a person who's scared of the dark... actually I only sleep good if it's dark (I have blackout curtains). Glad you like these shots..

For my honeymoon we'll be camping in south Greece (at a campsite)... maybe I'll capture some nighttime shots of a moon-scape over mountain or water (sea)... as I plan to take along my tripod and DSLR. The above shots were taken with my point and shoot Fuji F601, so night shots are much harder and more limited with that camera.
