Spot on Reanimator, it was in mid summer, the original shot was pretty flat so i forgot about it, but as my PS abilities are slowly, and i mean slowly starting to come together I thought i would have another crack at it!

Hi Longside: I think you've done pretty well with that edit, certainly it looks good to me . Maybe it's my monitor, but it took me quite a while to spot the line across the tree trunk that Bahadir spotted right away!

This is where layers would come in handy: you would "just" erase the bottom of the trunk so the other version shows through until the truck was the same all the way down (I hope this makes sense).

BTW slight blemishes like this are really hard to spot on small screens, but can be terribly obvious when printed out A4 or larger Just so you know!

Thanks, for the heads up John, much appreciated! I understand completely what you mean with re: using layers, just never thought of doing thnings that way. Ya just gotta love PS!

i actually prefer the darker trees in the first edit bahadir did. They contrast the sky more, and are just more pleasing to me
