John: Really we are only in spring. Ive forgotten what rain sounds like on our roof. The Southern and Eastern states have been hit the worst, our farmers are really doing it tough at the moment. Where there should be fields of ripe wheat to be harvested there is mainly dry earth. The ironic thing is that the northern part of Australia has so much water it doesnt know what to do with it. The Ord River which has been dammed created lake Argyle which is 812 sq km worth of water, almost an inland sea. It makes sense to me to pipe some of that water into dying rivers such as the Murray and Darling. The way the weather is at the moment we'll have floods this summer:?
