This is one of those instances where you just wish you had a better camera with you... I thought I'd share this shot because it gives me the willies. It's my friend and I dangling our feet over the edge of Half Dome in Yosemite National Park, CA after a LONG hike.

Thanks for the positive replies! Trust me, I got the same feeling of vertigo while the picture was being taken. Being that high up over a precipice like that is an incredible experience, I believe the edge of the face is around 4,400 feet from the valley floor. Glad you enjoyed looking at it as much as I did taking the picture.

I love hiking, mountains and beautiful views! I know that feelings when you look down from such a height down into the valley!
