Thought what the heck, I kinda like the picture so I thought I would submit it to Steve's POTD. First time I sent one in. I'll try not to break my arm patting myself on the back.:?
Photo is the moon rising over the lake, 2 exposures, one for the moon and one for the rest. No color work was done, that is the color it was, amazing site. Only other PS besides combining the exposures was cloning out about 942 hot pixels from the longer exposure. Hope you enjoy, but feel free to critique and hope I win that purdy Pentax!

Wow GoCubs,

Fantastic photo! Love the colours and mysteriousness of it! Very powerful!

Do you have any explanation as to the colours (as you said, this is what it looked like, no"clever colour work"!) Anything to do with the clouds around, or city light pollution or whatever?

All the best with the POTD results.... hope you'll win!
