First attempt at shooting the moon. It's a bit hazy out and with all of the light pollution in the city, it's hard to get a good shot. Alsomy Sigma 28-300mm is so soft Kind of like how it came out though :-)

Thanks for looking!

Chris

Indeed, such a fascinating subject to work on
At first I was surprised to see that looong exposure time (1/13) for shooting such a bright item. But given the high AV (f/9), well...Even so,I wonder why you did not use a higher shutter speed at higher ISO to avoid blur (if handheld)I go up about 1/250 @ 50 ..Maybe you used a tripod but it happened unexpectedly while depressing the shutter release! Anyway could be improved somehow I think:

Thanks for the fix Bahadir! I first started out with f/11. I read somewhere this was the best place to start. I don't know why I didn't try setting my shutter first/faster :? Guess I got too excited when I saw the moon  I'll definitely try againsince now I know I can catch the moon from my window :-) BTW Never noticed how fast the moon moves! :O
