Astounding foregroung
I think the background looks a bit blue biased somehow, easy to fix though. The decent DOF works nice here.

Thanks for your very kind comment, Bahadir. I think the slight blue cast to the background is probably due to the overcast sky. The shot looked OK on the camera's LCD, but making an accurate WB assessment that way is iffy at best.A WB bracketing feature sure would be handy. Maybe on my next camera...:-)

This is a popular spot with photographers. It's on an old highway now used as a localaccess road , so there's almost no traffic on it. The 'new' highway built about 15 years ago is much further upslope and doesn't have many safe places tp pull off and enjoy the view.
