Steve,

I think these are GREAT shots, especially for your first attempts. The bolts are clear and interesting (enough forks in them to represent power and randomness!)

I had tried a few months ago to get some lightning shots, but in the end the storm was too far from me!! (that would've been my first attempt).

Thanks for sharing your techniques / tips! Cool!

Where were these taken (I'm originally from Australia... so I'm curious?!) Hope that storm might've brought some needed rain somewhere???...

Hi Paul, the shots were taken down south in Adelaide. This was the first thunder storm for a very long time andno, the rain has only really just settled the dust for about one day.Once again thanks for looking and commenting.
