I was taking sunrise phots and turned around and thought this was cooler looking.

P.s. I messed up the title, should be The moon at sunrise.

Ah, the moody effect you have achieved reminded me the followinglines:

''Around, by lifting winds forgot,

Resignedly beneath the sky

The melancholy waters lie.''

Very tasteful composition! I wonder if it could be any denser if you cropped a little from the lefthandside..

Nice moody shot Bob, maybe a tad too much dodging on the trees on the left?

I love this photo - reminds me of a beautiful book of illustrations I had as a child. Those photos transported me to another realm, as this one does. Thanks for posting.

The Poe is perfect!

An intersting shot Bob. It reminds me of one of those old photos you find in old encyclopedias, and yes moody ,almost spooky.

Thank you MsPuck and Steve, I appreciate your comments! I have been trying to take photos with a mood or some type of emotion for awhile, it makes photography more fun for me.
