Haven't been around for a long time thought I'd post this just to keep my log in current.

this is a conceptually good image. i think the composition could benefit a bit by varying your vantage point. there is a bit of lens flare apparent above the lowest tree branch.

Thanks for the comment. I had several other angles but figured I'd only post this one. I've gone back to the original and I sure can't find the flare...unless it's there and I think it's something else, which is possible.

Thanks for looking.

That image attracts the beholder at the first sight! Very eye pleasing colour andsilhouette combination.Makes me want to see those 'several other ones' !!

Still, the part of the photo on the lefthandside of the tree trunk seemed a bit distracting to me.Turning down the lights there locally would help, IMO

Nice crop! I'm glad I asked youto sendsomefurther shots I applied photo filter and a slight pp as pepper and salt to enhance the drama already present in your last image! Hope you don't mind...

These are all beautiful - I love the first ones even with the flare, and then I saw the cropped and last ones, and they are perhaps more beautiful.

I am so distressed as I seem to have "done something" to my computer monitor and the display is stretch across the screen ( ) so need my hammer to fix!!! Until I do, pay no attention to my responses as I'm not seeing what I should be seeing.

I really like the first one. Love the sillouette of the moss hanging from the tree

Cheers,
Ollie
