Thank you all very much for your generous words and appreciation. Thanks also to Bahadir for slightly adjusted re-post. It's strange you don't realise the affect the dominant background of a website (dominantly black in this forum) has on the overall feeling of density in your pics until you see them posted. My original when I was viewing it in PS2 with a dominant light grey background showed more detail in the shadows as has been reproducedin Bahadir's re-post. However against the almost fully black screen in here it seems to pull all the tones down a notch. I must remember this in future posts.

Bahadir is also right whilst i'm new to posting pics on this site and also the web I am not new to photography as Ihave had an interest in photography for many years and I do look forward to posting more in the future. However i'm not so prolofic as many of you and don't get to get online to post or respond to posts that often. Thanks once again.
