And a great introduction it is, too. First impressions count, and this one speaks very well of you.

I'm about as amateur as it gets around here. But that is a fantastic photo. I love the cloud shadows particularly on the peak to the left.

You may be new to this forum but not new to photography,I think Well exposed and neat image of a beautiful piece of landscape. Still, 5-8 percent of shadowboostand aslight Levels adjustment at PS would bring out more details. Ah, all is a matter of taste of course!

If Gopher doesn't mind, could you show us what you mean Bahadir?

Here's a moderate one withpleasure..However, since youlike contrasty lighting,I guess the original one would appeal more to your taste, MsPuck

Dear Bahadir - Actually in this scene, I think your edit makes it feel even more expansive, which is wonderful. I think the greater contrast can be dramatic, and as you said I do like it much of the time, but it can "close up" a composition. I like the expanse you've added to. What does the original artist (Gopher) think? Thanks for responding.

Nice one, I have fond memories of Snowdonia, and Tryfan is definitely one of the more impresive peaks!

I'll look forward to seeing more of your work,

Cheers, John.
