Well we got our blast of winter early this year. Just a little early, and a little unusual. Temperatures are going down to -11C tonight, and that's pretty cold for our location. Here's a few shots I took today between shivering spells....cheers....Don.

Don,

I love the photos, especially 1, 2 and 3. Composition of number 2 is a real winner (as others have said). Actually reminds me of some winter walks I did (in a gorge) a few times here in Romania. But as I grew up in Australia (but in Tasmania, not as drought prone as South Australia, where MVASteve is from)... I also know what it's like to be withOUT snow!

Talking about contrast, photo 2 is a great composition too, sort of artistic looking with the snow and branch patterns etc against the overcast sky. I guess it's the sort of photo that would show up a lens' CA (chromatic aberration) if it has any! :-)

Thanks for sharing the photos with us.

Cheers

Paul
