The view looking South across the Spray Lakes in Alberta. Shot with the Canon 20D and a 17-40mm F4.0 L lens. Comments appreciated.

Beautiful shot JeanRoy! Love the composition and colours. That L lens renders lovely landscapes. On another note, I thought it looked a little dark on my monitor, and I did a levels adjustment to brighten it up a little. If you want I'll post it, if not, no problem either. I just thought it is such a beautiful shot, that I'd tweak it a little to enhance its impact......cheers.....Don.

Hi Roy!

Indeed a lovely photo... I agree with Don, the colours and composition are really outstanding. Great perspective and such a lovely looking day and place to be. On my monitor the only part that looks too dark is the trees in the midground left... maybe some selective lightening of that would enhance it, but it's not a huge issue imho.

I love the clouds and sky colour matching so well with the green of the trees on the mountain slop and the brown rock too.

Thanks for sharing!

Paul

Reminds me of Glacier National Park here in the US .. just across from your Waterford Park I believe.

Very nice indeed. It is my favorite kind of place.

I reworked the photo, by cropping some off the top, bottom, and right. It is balanced now. I really like this version.
