Here is a shot that Alady took that I requested to do a version of the original.
Basically rotated, and cropped then levels, contrast, saturation and highlights&shadows all adjusted.

What do ye all thinketh?

Ollie

That's very simple and striking, I like it!

Cheers, John.

Hi Ollie!

I've got a quick minute between packing to say, wow, cool Aussie colours. I like what you've done with the photo... (and thanks to aladyforty too!)

The bend in the road draws the eye in well, good balance of sky, (clouds / blue) as well as complimenting the "land" area. It definitely looks outback Australia.... but the dry look is painful (drought?)!

Well, in a couple of weeks I'll probably be seeing places like this in South Australia, where we'll be before heading down to (I guess greener) Tasmania...

Thanks for sharing.

Paul (Ps even the tyre marks seem so "in place"!)

Ok well just incase anyone was wondering what the weather was like here in Tassie. Well this shot I took yesterday. It was hot, there were bushfires not far away and it was somewhat dry.

So I wouldn't say perfectly green Pj, sorry

Ollie

PS let me know what you all think too btw.

Both images have appealed to me with their vibrant colours andbeautiful depiction of nature I'dfavour the first one though for its dazzling contrasting(and therefore complementary!) colours of the earth and the sky. Iunderstand thatyou provided the second one to give an opinion about the weather, still, I should say that I find the sky a bit over sharpened..Again, thanks for sharing mate!
