These are very much a case of a happy accident: I had been out looking for a good sunset (didn't really happen) and was just about to drive off, when I noticed the moon rising behind "Widgery's Cross" on Brat Tor (Dartmoor). I didn't have a tripod, so resting on the car door was the best I could manage.

I wasn't alone either: I've never heard so many cries of "Ooooo", "Aaaaaah", and "Where did I put that flipping camera!" all at the same time ! :-)

Cheers, John.

Thanks folks!

Alex: exposure is easy for these: the moon is always the same no matter where you take it (128th at f3 for me).

Cheers, John.
