Can objects like theese have a esthetic value, for instance in photography

Torgny: I think these can indeed have value, however the bland sky leaves this one a little plain-looking I think? Maybe a study in b&w, or even one at sunset might work better: I remember Bob Hammit posting some excellent images of silos taken under these conditions, and I think the same effect would work well here too.
