Hi All,

Ok, This is my first Night shot at 3200. Ok, I had the wrong lens on the camera, But I wanted this shot. Here it is, Not the greatest or best. But it is a recorded first try.....:|

In the first place, I shouldmention about thetasteful composition... Well done!

I'd play with curves a little at PS. tomakeits features a bit more distinct and then apply some anti-noise plus sharpening to compensate the softening effect of the anti noise.Or forget about the antinoise+sharpening let the noise remain as the canvas of a painting, which looksfine here

You could use manual focus on infinity instead of autofocus, but its a great start.

Hi,

It was just one of those shots that you grab the camera run outside while the temps are bleow zero and get the shot. Then when you come back into the house you find you have the wrong lens on the camera (That is not fast enough).

Well I got it. Like I said the look of the shot is what caught my eye to make run out and shoot it.... Not going to do that for awhile..... LOL!!!

Thank you for the advice and suggestions, I ll give them a try. It is funny that in all of the years I have taking photogrphs that I NEVER shot above 800 on film or digital... Oh Well live and learn....

bahadir, I softened up the shot because of the noise. It gives it a dreamy sort of erie look to it. Might be good for Halloween..... LOL
