I was checking out this old farm house (more of a shack really) and barn that are not far from my house. I drive by them at a distance all the time. It was worth a closer look. The house provided some interesting colors, not what I was expecting at all.
Both pictures were taken using my Circ. polarizing filter. on a Nikon 18-200 VR lens.

Good morning Steve, being partial to b/w photography #2 is my favorite. I really like the perspective you shot this from, has a dramatic feel to it for me, very nice work!

Good morning to you as well. Thanks Bob, I've been a fan of your B&W's for sometime now. I always enjoy seeing what you'll come up with next. I think that's what inspired this attempt at a B&W treatment. In fact, the weather is supposed to be pretty nice here so I am off to find more old barns and the like to shoot today.

All the best,
Steve

The first onefeaturing the 'shack!'standing out with its well saturated contrasting& complementary colours and the second one on which I'll tell no more than Bob did, I think both captures have their own merits,Steve
