My favorites are #9 and #4.

#5 has a good composition but have some blurry points which disturbs the observer while trying to focus on the image.

Torgny, from your second batch of photos I like #6 the most - the symbolism catches my thought immediately (heads weighed down by snow/age).

#8 is just begging to be played with in Photoshop or similar.

flippedgazelle

If you have the time some day, would you tweak #8 for me (I can send the original file)

This means a lot to me. I´m not exactly surrounded by dramatic environments, but landscape is still "my thing"

I have some thousands (!) of landscape pictures. Many of them work quite well here but many of them could do with a "facelift".

I want a batch process to do the work, as they are so many. Any suggestions? I have CS2 and can easily get access to most computer software

Torgny, I have come up with several iterations of your original #8. If you find any merit in these, or have suggestions, please let me know - I would be delighted to work on the original photo for you.

I'm sure there are many here who can do a better job than I. I use Photoshop CS2, a program I enjoy very much but I am quite the neophyte.

My current "work music" - I often listen to music while working on photos - is the excellent "Stardush We Are" album by the Flower Kings.

B&W version, done with the BW Styler 1.0 plugin:

emre,

Yes, I tried the perhaps impossible in that picture, #5. I tried different aperture settings to get different DOF.

My ambition is to get two or more layers in the foreground ("curtain" I could say for this special picture);

as well as the background sharp, without "provocing" a headache... ^_^
