Not much light, but sometimes the sun can shine through. Far away - a never ending story...

Torgny,

I like these pictrues. I imagine some little ferries flying around and perhaps a unicorn through the mist.

Are these pictures from your hometown? Shouldn't there be snow all over, not green moss right now? I lived in Finland for a year and I remember this time of the year being cold and snowy. Lucky you if it is.

Debbie,

Glad you like the pictures. There are more to be followed.

The first picture is taken in december last year. The second is taken in february10 this year. Yes, there should have been (more) snow.

Al Gore got an Oscar, that´s good.

Two weeks ago (very late) the snow came. Of course I was out with the camera...

Yes, other lifes than ours are lived in the forests. We must protect them...

Torgny,

The first shot is my favorite, which looks like a shot taken from the movie Lords of the Ring.
I liked the ambiance and the composition.

emre,

Yes, I thought so too. It was really a "lucky shot" - with both the mist and the light on the moss at the roots of the tree. Sometimes you have both time and light on your side...

But perhaps it brings up the question; what is best - the book or the film? My personal answer is the book

Thanks for watching

/T

Thanks Bob,

This journey is a long one, like the ones in the work of J R R Tolkien, also a friend of the finnish epic masterpiece "Kalevala". Here is almost a clearing (could have been taken near the Russian border)
