There were some awesome cloud formations today. We've had very unstable weather the past few days making for some good photo ops.

This is looking in the opposite direction, toward the West.

Steve, this is whatI call Landscape photo+graphyAs a matter of fact I wasn't surprised to see that mastery from you, for you've been consistently posting some very good examples of the genre, IMHO! Btw, my favourite among the three would be the first one though I really appreciate the eye pleasing abundant foreground in the second one.

Hi Steve! I agree with Bahadir, you got that camera singing! I am really a big fan of skyscapes and #3 is one of the coolest I have seen in some time!

Thanks Bahadir, Bob and Donna for your nice comments.
Bahadir, you did a wonderful job of stiching some extra forground into that first shot. It truely is now a dream shot. You are a magician my friend.
Bob, the clouds and clear skys made for a perfect opportunity to try and capture some very dramatic skies. I only hoped I could do it some small justice. I love big clouds. I always have. I think I need to try some B&W with either a polorizing filter or maybe a Red ( I think that the one to use for B&W and clouds.) Anyway I really appreciate your comment. I hope your back is mending well.
Thanks Donna, that shot is my wifes fav as well.
Cheers,
Steve

Bahadir, this is funny. I was reviewing other shots I took that day when I noticed a shot that is a perfect replica of the shot you adjusted. What an incredible coincidence.

See for yourself,
