sportive,

Quite a good sense and saturation in shadow.

I wondered how a piece of sunlight there was over the tower, while the sun was in the opposite direction. Also the blue of the clouds crossing nearly over the illuminated part of the tower seemed as if created by the help of a post proccesing. If not please accept my apologies and admires.

Sportive,

I didn't mean to offend you nor claiming anything about your work.
Mine was a cruoisity about how you could achived that image. Of course using photoshop or variants is not prohibited here -as far as I know- for enchancing the quality of the images. For the advanced use of PS for modifying the images are wellcomed on "Digital Art (modified digicam images)".

Again, I do not claim you as creating some fake images. Maybe it's my incapability of solving the questions in my mind about your image.

I hope you may help me to explore your image as it deserves.

I'm wondering if what looks like a band of sun on the tower, is really just 3 coarses of a different color stone....(?)

Or, even better idea....I see lots of small puddles amonst the rocks...perhaps there is a puddle on the other side of the ridge that is reflecting strongly, onto the tower.

I don't see anything else odd about this image...

And, Sportive, I'd still like to know where this is!

I really don't want to be insistive on the oddities Kita but the sun should be very near to horizon on the far side behind the ridge.
So, there should be some water resting vertical :?: around, to be able to reflect the sunlight to the dark side of the tower.

But, there may be something behind the camera and above enough to catch and reflect the sun that any of us can't know but Sportive

That's exactly what I was thinking, eu,....Veritcal Water!!!

I have seen some pretty weird reflections from very unexpected places.

No credibility to the different color stone theory?

Torgny,

I'm convinced with your explaination about the paint especially after finding a similar example showing obviously that it's a paint on the wall.

To those who liked the works of sportive, I would highly recommend his page on http://www.photosight.org
You'll find similar distinctive examples of him there.

And sportive,
I 've didn't claim your photo as being fake but as being played in PS. The clues for it can be seen on the example of your photo in the photosight.org site, you will notice that the selection path is not refined as good as it is in here and an untouched boundary between the rocks and the sky left.

Anyway,
I have to admit that your works are very selective and worth to watch and frame.
