Tasteful composition of three layers of landscape, my friend

I liked the colours of the houses and the trees in the foreground and the gradualshift of the layers from left to right as the eye wanders on your photo.

So, forgive my willingness of (so-called) contribution solely out of my appreciation for the original : )

I like the edit. Did you use a mask and then increase contrast in the background?

I'm glad you liked it : ) Well, as I always say a good edit requires an inspiringoriginal, in the first place!

As for the steps I followed, as far as I remember:G, first I selected(with lasso tool)the foreground and bightened up a little to get more of the nice colours, using the Shadow/Highlight tool. And then I selected the midground including the shore and the mountains just for the opposite action. Finally I opened the image in Neat Image to remove the noise due to the abovementioned applications and forsome sharpening (25%). Experience proved me higher sharpening than this may degrade the image quality.

A good combination of Barbarian's composition and Bahadir's edit.

A result, worth to watch. Thank you both.

A fine job by Bahadir. This, BTW, is the reason I come here. Instead of criticizing the photos posted here, most participants focus on "what could make this one better?"

We all learn and benefit from this open and supportive culture.
