Blue skies ahead, raining not very far away. Welcome to Icelandic weather!

Tasteful capture of a very inspirational geography where Valkries seem to have a rest on their ride to Asgard

Hope you don't mind my version : )

Not at all, that is a great improvement. What did you use to change that and which settings specifically? You seem to have toned down the exposure which really brings out the definition on some of those clouds. I struggle with my A520 for exposure and a previous digital camera, I don't seem to suffer the same with my 35mm SLR. It is the bain of my existence!!

Thanks for the input, I appreciate it!

I'm glad youappreciatedmy version as I liked your original: ) Well, you know imitationsinvariably elevate their originals!

I have the A510, which is the 3.2MP version of your 4MP A520, and have been very pleased about it, especially its fast and sharp glass of 1:2.6 (better than my Powershot S70 in this regard)

As for the pp. firstI bought out the details both in highlights and shadows using the Highlights / Shadow tool in PS, which required two applications, and then gavethe overall imageone of my favourite good looking 'S' curves in the Curves!

Great picture(s). The air is so clean. As you say, you have to be prepared for almost instant weather changes.

Beautiful
