I'm having trouble bringing out the 'best' in this shot. I've tried correcting the exposure but it still seems a little dull in places. If anyone can offer a bit of help!:?

You mean in post-processing (i.e. Photoshop), or at the time of taking the photo?

I should have metered on the brightest area and that would have perhaps turned out better. But it was very hot and I, frankly, hate the menus on my Canon A520. It was around midday too, I think I was on a hiding to nothing!!

Im sure I can do a bit more post processing, any ideas?

Loved the geography and your tasteful capture! The overexposed parts, which you also mentioned, give an impressionthat it snoweda little,at the first sight :-)

Some Highlight/ Shadow adjustment+ slight Levels regardingthe Red channel at PS would help IMO. Some noise reduction for the sky would not hurt

Here's a quick attemp to give an opinion.

That is a vast improvement, particularly removing the harsh bright areas and bringing warmth back to the image. Heheh Well done again Bahadir - you are becoming my mentor!:-):-)
