A tastefully vertical frameof the stream

I always look for such prolific walks in terms of photography

This is very nice. The "tangled bank" teeming with life. I'm not sure why I like it, but my first reaction on seeing it, was pure pleasure.

Very nice.

Thank you for the kind words, when I first sawthis, before I took the photo it looked a bit of a mess, but I thought it had potential to make a good photo.

Don't take this the wrong way, it's a good photo, but don't you find that streams, brooks and rivers always look better in person than they photograph? I think it has to do with the sound the brook makes that adds to the drama. Something to be said for those guys shooting video.

Thanks for your opinion Beecee, no problem, but you don't just look at the stream or brook, you look at the whole area and try to imagine how it would look on screen or photo, its not all to do with sound.

Being a biologist, I was in the scene the moment I looked at it. My second thought was about my footing, to get down and have a closer look.

I crop my soccer pictures closer than most people like, because that's what I experienced playing. To some degree, what we like is predicated by what we know.
