A cold, still April afternoon on this abandoned farm. The old corn crib barn is still standing.

How do you feel about a landscape shot in the portrait orientation over the landscape orientation?

I'd like to see this with the landscape side by side. Nice shot.

The portrait orientation certainly works here with the grasses and pond in the foreground. Makes the shutter finger itch.

Very tasteful

With its eye pleasing colours, the cute reflection of the abandoned cottage on the pond andgreat use of the foreground, this pic.makes a beautiful postcard, IMO!

Thanks for the comments everyone!

It's one of my favorite barns to photograph - easy to get to and nobody around to chase you away. There is a huge athletic complex and shopping mall right next to this farm (I'm standing on the asphalt taking this photo) so I hope it's not razed soon to expand the mall.
