Hello, everybody

You´ve got some picture watching to do, remember?

I´m especially turning to the pros of this forum, Gisli, Bob, bahadir etc. If you work really hard you may eventually end up as a prominent view card photographer

I wish you good luck (wholehearted smile)

I don't know what kind of camera you are using, but if you are able to manually focus the lens you might want to try focusing on the shore line in the distance and leaving the nets out of focus. I did this with a photo I recently took through a chain link fence...

btw: The above photo is of the parachute ride (no longer in use) at Coney Island, NY

BEECEE

So it is called chain link fence in english. Have wanted to know. Thanks.

Why don´t you bring in your picture. Perhaps we can get a mini discussion on these techniques.

(smile)

I have different cameras with different possibilities. This time I used a brave little Fujifilm Finepix F31fd. I couldn´t possibly have used the large dslr because of the many layers of net.

My goal was to get the net as well as the background in focus so I set it at max aperture value. This was the best that little camera could do

Another time, if I get the opportunity, I might bring other cameras to try to get the effect in your picture

(I have some pics like yours. It´s fun to experiment with. This is with a 24-105mm)
