Thanks everyone. This was a great trip to Yosemite. I took my mom from Arkansas and well it is a bit overwhelming the first time you see this place. She loved the place! We did about 5 miles walking/hiking each day - not bad for a 71 year old mom!

Ms. Puck - an HDR photograph is a computer joined photo of multiple exposures. There are a couple of software packages that do this. This photo, without this technique would have black trees and forground with a properly exposed Half Dome or if I had metered on the trees then Half Dome would have been over exposed.

HDR stands for High Dynamic Range

Everything about this is very good. I do find Half Dome itself looking a bit too centered.
